Vogue.it Tokio Hotel - Tom and Bill Kaulitz on the cover of October.

One would not expect so fresh, almost adolescent curiosity in such beautiful faces of Bill and Tom Kaulitz., Minds and hearts behind Tokio Hotel. Walk the Biscuri Pallazzo decadent rooms, the splendid palace of S. Ctania XVIII, Sicily where the photoshoot took place, almost sheepishly, as if unwilling to disturb the "genius loci".

Considering its success, with a million records sold around the world (most recently, Humanoid, under the Universal sellode, after exactly one year out), it would seem natural for these two young men - who have done so much at such a young age - take everything for granted. And in contrast, is quite the opposite: they seem surprised to find here. "This palace is magnificent, an artistic treasure. There is places like this where we came from," says Bill with a slightly embarrassed smile.

refers to the town of Magdeburg in eastern Germany, where the fairy tale of Tokio Hotel was launched ten years ago. Already at the age of seven, the Kaulitz twins were to play the guitar and experimenting with extravagant style, which made that stood out as outsiders at school. Tom was obsessed with Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry and while Bill was a big fan of David Bowie and fascinated by the talent of transformation the "White Duke".
